Digital Paintings

Digital Paintings are created completely from scratch using only the computer mouse. This is a technique I've learned to love, and hope to have time to do more in the future.

My first digital painting. I did use two pre-made images: the lighthouse and the tree; though I smudged the tree image a bit to make it look more painted.
Everything else was done by hand.

This is one of those tutorials I had downloaded years ago,
but didn't have the nerve to try until just recently.

This is a popular tutorial and it was offered by a talented artist named Alan Dawson.
Alan's Website is no longer available so I cannot provide a link.
